A personal story in Salzburg gave rise to a clear mission: to support women in all phases of life with well-thought-out nutritional supplements – for balance, strength and lasting health.

The idea originated within a family setting when Dr. Christoph Stierle sought a solution for his partner's discomfort. Our story
PUROGYN's roots lie in Salzburg. Dr. Christoph Stierle's family has run a gynecological practice there since 1989, accepting patients from the national health insurance system. This ensures that every woman has access to high-quality medical care, regardless of her financial situation. This principle continues to guide Dr. Stierle's work today.
Over the years, a wealth of knowledge has accumulated regarding the health and needs of women in different phases of life. Dr. Stierle combines his family's medical expertise with many years of experience in clinics and private practice, as well as a deep understanding of natural raw materials.
Drawing on this wealth of experience, he first developed a carefully formulated recipe for PMS symptoms. The noticeable results in his personal life particularly impressed his partner – and awakened in her the desire to share this knowledge and the associated relief with as many women as possible.

Cornelia Walkner is the founder of PUROGYN – but above all, she is a woman with an intense professional life, a mother, and someone who herself struggled with symptoms every month for many years. Symptoms that she eventually refused to accept as "normal" any longer.
A moment of true self-respect: recognizing that her own well-being is just as important as everything she accomplishes on a daily basis.

As a gynecologist with decades of experience in a Salzburg-based public health insurance practice, he possesses an exceptionally deep understanding of the needs, challenges, and realities of women's lives. This practical experience shapes his work, as do his scientific rigor and high medical standards.
For many years, he has accompanied women through different phases of their lives – with empathy, precision, and a special focus on understanding their health issues holistically. His commitment to ensuring high-quality and accessible care for all women through his daily work as a physician in the public health system forms the core of his medical philosophy.
He applies this same principle to PUROGYN: He combines clinical experience, family knowledge passed down through generations, and sound research to create effective, nature-based formulations. His work results in products based on genuine care, professional excellence, and a deep sense of responsibility for women's health.
